Ninjas and stuff
Went to the Ninja restaurant the other day and saw my first Ninja! It's super kitsch but super fun. You walk into a room with no doors, then a panel suddenly slides open and a Ninja pops out and takes you down a series of narrow passage ways till you get down inside. Turns out the Ninja is your waiter and he delivers everything to you in a Nijaesque way.
Being sent off in grand Ninja fashion.
Other weird things I've seen...
Is the glass half empty or half full? This guy either won big at Pachinko or he's about to spend his life fortune.
Red Bull spends a lot on vehicle advertising. Look at this pimped out jalopy/jeep with turntables in the rear!
The Japanese Aesthetic...
In Rem Koolhass's book, SMLXL he analyzes the Japanese Aesthetic. You see it everywhere...
The simplistic sake pitcher...
Organized garlic...
Perfectly marbled beef...
Subdued colors of package desgin
This stuff rocks. If you like Calpis, you'll love this.

The ninja restaurant is very unique huh? But.. kinda weird how he sent you off. panchinko is a social problem in japan...ppl addicted to it and losing themselves..and lead to lots of crimes. talking sbout japanese aesthetic..the simplicity and chic is the motto for them.
the traditional Japanese garden is beautiful.. in Tokyo you can find but not the best ones. The famous ones would be in Kanazawa the kenrokuen is very nice.
the calpis..I love this drink too. esp when I was a child it was a bonus to have it during summer. remember myself drink it with my friends during the very hot summer days in Japan. A sweet memory.
That Ninja restaurant sounds cool.
Pachinko??
Organized garlic ?!?!
marbled beef yummy
Wow! The ninja restaurant looks pretty impressive. Was the food good?
Calpis is the love ^^ There's a lack of people who love it as much as soda.
What's the point of the organized garlic...?
I never drank Calpis.
And it must be nice to have a different eye for stuff like that, more importantly thank you for sharing it.
Super Cool, Man I really want to go to Japan now
I walked by a Pachinko place last night in Sendai, Japan. "Vegas Vegas" I think it was called. All those old men in there pachinko-ing away.
Yup, the premium calpis. The expensive version. More creamy! Or in japanese, more "maroyaka".
